PERFORMANCE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER

CPI-ENG SRL is looking for a PERFORMANCE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER for an important client.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Work in a motivated engineering team to improve the steady state and transient performance of our internal combustion engines applying both simulation and testing
• Support innovative gas engine development projects focusing on performance (power, efficiency, emissions, transient behavior etc.) and operating strategies
• Support in-house engine testing on single and multi-cylinder engines with emphasis on mixture preparation, gas exchange, ignition & combustion, turbocharging etc.
• Analyze simulation and measurement results with interpretation, conclusion and reporting
• Validate engine and component performance including testing at research institutes and customer sites
• Cooperate closely with controls, design, mechanical engineering, exhaust gas aftertreatment, test benches, service and manufacturing as well as with order engineering teams & external suppliers

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor/Master of science in mechanical engineering
• Initial experience in internal combustion engine testing preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills to work in a global matrix organization
• Good communication skills in English

Location: Tyrol (Austria)

Working hours: Full Time, on site
